Glasgow Science Centre to hold 20 day gaming festival GameMania

The Glasgow Science Centre is holding a 20 day gaming festival!

It’s time to press start because the Glasgow Science Centre is hosting GameMania, a gaming festival which will run for 20 days.

CELEBRATING FOUR DECADES OF GAMING

The festival will hold famous games like Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Crash Bandicoot and Minecraft. It’ll start on the 27th of June and run until the 16th of July to celebrate the last 4 decades of gaming with over 150 consoles to play from.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

It will also have classic games such as Asteroids and Space Invaders. Gamers can also learn BASIC programming as well as the history of machinery, game developing and will also get to play around with rare systems.

The exciting festival also includes arcade games as well as Sega Megadrive, Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Wii, Commodore 64, XBOX, PSVR and Atari.

For the kiddies, the festival will have a Minecraft room, indie games and classic DOS.

TICKETS

Gamers can have 90 minutes of fun for £8 per adult and £6 per child. There will also have autism friendly sessions on Sunday, 15th of July.

Adult only sessions will run on only on Thursdays from 7pm until 10pm. Adult tickets will cost £15 and includes a bar.
