It’s a new instalment from the Alien franchise! Destined for a remote planet across the galaxy, members of the ship Covenant discover what they take to be paradise. Surprise surprise, it does not quite meet their expectations. The crew meet synthetic David, a survivor of the original Prometheus, and the story soon turns dark when a hostile life force forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival. Expect OTT crunching sounds and gore.
Based on true events from WWII, hilarity ensues when a military ship is wrecked during a storm in the Outer Hebrides. The islanders, who are largely unaffected by the war and rationing, get by well enough until their whisky supply runs out. As luck would have it, the ship carries 50,000 cases of whisky. They salvage the cargo, enraging the British authorities, and a struggle between the English commander trying to confiscate the goods and the islanders who are desperate to keep it, begins.
