It’s finally Friday and the weekend is almost here! It’s time to get out of the house and do something fun, don’t worry, Netflix will still be there on Monday.
Go to a fun fair
Whether you want to hang out with family or friends, a fun fair is the perfect location. This weekend Kelvingrove Park will be home to Trevor Smith’s Family Fun Fair, kitted out with waltzers, dodgems and even a candy floss stand. Don’t worry if you’re too busy studying for exams this weekend, the fair is on until 7 May.
Grab some street food
Good food is always something to get excited about so why not make an afternoon of it and visit a food social. Glasgow has loads of delicious options: we suggest the Big Feed in Govan or Platform in the city centre.

Go see the new Avengers movie
Since we’re in Scotland, it’s likely it will rain this weekend, leaving you with the perfect opportunity to go and see Avengers: Infinity War. The latest Marvel movie features everyone from Spider-man to Black Panther and will keep you on the edge of your seat for the full two and a half hour running time.
Go to a a vintage fair
Vintage fairs are the perfect way to treat your wardrobe to something new and unique without breaking the bank. This Sunday you can search the rails of the Glasgow Vintage & Flea Market for bargains that you won’t find in any normal high street shop.
