Accepted to a Glasgow uni? Have a stay in brand new student accommodation until September! 😍
Students who in August learned they have been accepted into Glasgow universities have been invited to stay in the city free of charge, until September 2, at a brand new purpose built student accommodation building – and their families can come too.
It is believed to be a first-of-its-kind invitation offered by Student Roost at their St Mungo’s property near Cathedral Street, one of the main university thoroughfares and particularly close to Strathclyde University.
Student Roost is one of the UK’s largest student accommodation providers and the new state-of-the-art shared home will house 349 young people across a variety of en suite and studio rooms.
But before it officially welcomes students on September 8, the invitation to stay for up to two nights and explore the city is open to any student and their family who has an offer to study in Glasgow.
The Glasgow team have made the move as they believe St Mungo’s represents the very best in everything Student Roost stands for and majors around exceptional communal facilities, which rank among the best in the city.

This includes a cinema room, gym, study room (private and group), games area and demonstration kitchen. As with the other four Student Roost Glasgow properties sites St Mungo’s also offers 24/7 customer service.
Student Roost is currently the only purpose-built study accommodation company to give students a month to pay their first month’s rent, after student loans have landed in bank accounts.

To book a complimentary stay before September 2, students must have an offer from a Glasgow University or College (parents and friends are welcome as part of a student booking).
