Biffy calls on extras for mystery project

Famous Scottish band Biffy Clyro has called on fans to appear in an upcoming project called “Balance, Not Symmetry”.

The band announced on their Twitter account that they are looking for people to appear in a “film”, and are recruiting extras for this weekend (29-30 September). Our sources here at Source believe the film to be a documentary about the band’s history.

NEW MUSIC?

The announcement has fans anticipating a brand new album, as the band has not released any new music since 2016. The trio are currently on their MTV Unplugged Tour through Europe, playing their biggest hits from over the years. But many are hopeful that the new film will be the first event in a series, revealing the latest of Biffy’s albums.

The band, originally from Ayrshire, first hit the music scene in 1995 as a four piece, with member Boyan Chowdury leaving to form The Zutons in 1997. Since then, the band has gone from strength to strength, headlining Reading and Leeds Festival in 2013,  T in the Park in 2014 and, most recently, TRNSMT in 2017. Hit songs include “Many of Horror”, “Mountains”, “Bubbles” and “Opposites”.
