From Rachel-from-Glee levels of enthusiasm to Red Bull-ed up to the eyeballs, where are you in the exam revision process?
1. Super keen
Here we go! Exam time is HERE! It is ON. I’m going to study every day, I’m going to get top marks. Look at all my Post-It notes and different coloured highlighters! Behold my numerous past paper textbooks and revision notes! LET’S DO THIS.
2. Fear
Oh hang on. When did we ever do that? I’ve never seen this equation in my life before. Better text Jenny.
3. Soldiering on
Despite not having a clue what any of this means, I’m still going. Study time. Pages and pages of notes. Not one clue what any of it means
4. Stress-ville
Yeah, definitely no idea. Sweating a bit. Is that my heartbeat I can hear in my ears? Is that normal? I think I’ve forgotten how to breathe.
5. Denial
I’ve done enough. That’ll do. Who’s on This Morning? I love Philip Schoefield.
6. Full panic
I SHOULD NEVER HAVE WATCHED ALL OF DAYTIME TV. I AM NOW ONE FULL DAY BEHIND. I’M GOING TO FAIL EVERYTHING. MUST DRINK ALL ENERGY DRINKS AVAILABLE AND NEVER SLEEP AGAIN.
7. Social media check in
“Has anyone started studying for physics? I don’t have a CLUE lol #help” May as well Instagram my notes will I’m at it. And Snapchat Dave. Then maybe Vine myself dancing because why not really?
8. The study date
Physics classmate has arrived – we’re going to crack this together.
9. The ‘help me’ phase
I, er, kind of get it but I think I’ll just pop into class and ask the teacher for some help. That’s cool, right? People do that? Don’t they? DON’T THEY?
10. The Eureka moment
NOW it makes sense! On it like a car bonnet.
11. Victory
Now I understand what this means, it’s actually sinking in. My notes make more sense, they’re more organised and I can actually remember most of it. I might actually pass this. Wish me luck…
