A note from the editor: a new look for Source

Hello! *waves awkwardly*

It’s been a while since I gave you an update of the goings on at Source HQ, so what better time than now, as myself and the rest of the team try and get some work done after ODing on pizza over lunchtime?

If you’re lucky enough to have teachers and lecturers that are on the ball and deal with their mail quickly, you’ll have got your hands on the new Source this week – and you might just have noticed something a little bit different.

Yep, we’ve had a little bit of work done – not in the style of Kylie Jenner, but a total revamp for our lovely magazine. We’re now bolder, smarter and more modern, bringing Source right up to date and in line with you guys.

We asked you what you wanted, and we listened. We’ve given the features a shake up, tracked down the celebs you wanted us to and, overall, we’re looking a whole lot cooler. Take a peek for yourself…

Nice, isn’t it? This issue is absolutely jam-packed with great careers advice, big celebs, travel inspo and a special pullout on graduate recruitment. We’ve also launched our brilliant gap adventure competition – you could be off to Ghana or Ecuador courtesy of Lattitude Global Volunteering and STA Travel!

As well as a new look and feel for Source, we’ve got a new staff member joining us next week. Very exciting! Our new editorial assistant will be helping to make Source even bigger, better and bolder than ever before – and we’re really excited to see how things end up. Send us your feedback too so we know exactly what YOU want to see in Source – after all, it’s you we’re writing for. You can email me at editor@sourcemagazine.org.uk or leave a comment below.

In slightly sadder news, today we’re waving goodbye to our style blogger and admin assistant Hannah. After a year at Source Magazine, Hannah’s passed her business administration apprenticeship with flying colours and she’s now heading off to college. We’re sure she’s going to be a massive success – but we’ll definitely miss her round the office, where she’s been a huge help and kept us all on track fashion-wise… Good luck, Hannah!

So there we have it! If you haven’t got the latest Source, start pestering your teachers or you can go subscribe here now to get Source delivered direct to your door, totally free of charge. Bargain of the century.

Let me know what you think of the mag – what you like, what you don’t like, and everything else.

Until next time…
