After waiting months, the moment we’ve been waiting for is finally here. That’s right – Summer Sessions Edinburgh has announced its line up, and it’s a belter!

Playing across seven dates in August, the acts consist of a mix of classic talent and newer faces from the music industry.

LINE UP

Kicking off the event with two nights of ethereal fun is Florence + the Machine, followed by iconic Scottish rock band, Primal Scream, who will be supported by The Smiths guitarist, Johnny Marr.

Contemporary Scottish band, CHVRCHES, are coming home to headline, closing the first week of the sessions.

Guaranteed to be the highlight of the week for many, the Courteeners are headlining on the Friday night. Last in Scotland when they played the SSE Hydro in Glasgow to a sold out crowd, this is sure to be one of the highlights of the festival.
