Another year has flown past us, and now we’re staring 2013 square in the face – shouldn’t we have hover boards by now…?
Our disappointment at ‘the future’ aside (Marty McFly, you lied to us!), we’ve had a corker of a year at Source HQ. We’ve launched our shiny new website and had fantastic feedback, worked with dozens of new aspiring journalists, taken on Radio 1’s Ally McCrae as our superstar columnist, hosted our own secret gig with chart toppers Cover Drive, been nominated for awards, seen former interns earn themselves top jobs, met oodles of celebs, dished out some fab advice, been zookeepers for the day – and more!
So after all of this amazing work and incredible achievement, we’re off for a well-deserved break to get us ready for even bigger and better things in 2013. The whole Source team will be out of the office until 3 January, eating everything in sight, donning our Christmas jumpers, singing Wham! at every available opportunity and, with a bit of luck, meeting some handsome strangers under the mistletoe. We all hope that you’ll have as much as fun as us over the holidays – it comes but once a year, so make the most of it!
