Glasgow’s fashion elite were all in one place on Tuesday night when fashion website The Pokey Hat held a party to celebrate the arrival of Jeffrey Campbell shoes on their site.
Jeffrey Campbell’s unique style and towering heels have been spotted everywhere over the past year and have spawned countless remakes and copies. So it’s very exciting for the Glasgow-based website, which is famed for its vintage and quirky style, to be carrying these must-have shoes.
The party took place at FabrIQ club on Queen Street and we were treated to a three-part fashion show, showcasing some of the great styles you can get from ThePokeyHat.com.
The models strutted their stuff to Girl’s Aloud’s Something New and Madonna’s Vogue. All the girls looked amazing as they sported the key trends for this winter, which include a lot of leather, gold and sequins.
Our favourite outfits were the long-sleeved gold top that was paired with a black mid length skirt (above) and a tartan midi-skirt (below) that was perfectly teamed with a black sheer top.
There was even a chance to win a pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes which we were unfortunately unsuccessful in!
Overall, it was a fantastic evening. It was great to see such great style being showcased so close to home, and to be reminded that Scotland is slowly but surely planting itself on the fashion map…
