Easter is the perfect excuse to eat loads of chocolate and switch off from work or studying over the bank holiday.🐰🍪🎉
Stuck for ideas on what you can get up to this Easter Weekend? Follow us down the rabbit hole and discover the fun you can have over the long weekend.
City Break
Go all out and enjoy a city break with your mates, or if you’re brave why not head off yourself! There are always great deals on sites like LastMinute.com or Love Holidays (a site helping you students get fab holidays on the cheap) to get you off to some pretty cool locations. Thanks to all the airlines out there you’re guaranteed to get great flight times to make the most of your weekend away. Grab your passport and go.

Go Home
You’ve been away from home now for a few months and as the parties die down because everyone’s off studying you’re starting to feel a bit homesick. That’s normal, don’t panic you’re still cool even though you’re desperate to see your childhood teddy again. A wee visit home can be full of rewards: proper cooked meals, money from the grandparents, catching up with old mates and a house that doesn’t have bin bags and tea stains all over the place. Bliss.
Explore the Outdoors
Don’t sit at home for the holidays and let them pass you by in a haze. Get up and get outdoors – if the weather’s nice it might be the only chance you get this year, we live in Scotland after all. Have yourself an adventure like the kids in Stranger Things and discover all the cool little nooks and crannies on offer from your current location. Netflix will be there when you get back.

Read
We all know you won’t actually be studying over the Easter Weekend but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep your brain working. There are some great books out there doing the rounds at the moment to get your teeth stuck into, or catch up with the releases you missed last time round because you were too busy. Stuff your face with chocolate eggs, drink some tea and get cosy before diving into a literary journey.
