World-leading training
To innovate disruptively, our tech communities need cutting-edge expertise, knowledge and tools. At Barclays, you’ll get them through our learner-centred training, which is designed for our global business.
After all, if we’re going to re-define what’s possible, we need to re-think the way we approach the challenge.
So, we’ve come up with a flexible, immersive experience that focuses on your development – a solution that keeps pace with the fast-changing technological world and ensures you’re digitally up to speed.
If you bring the commitment to learn, we’ll support every aspect of your development, whether you join us as a Technical Analyst, Apprentice or Intern.
Our technology hubs
Along with Glasgow, our tech hubs are located in London (at our Canary Wharf headquarters), Northampton and Radbroke Hall in Cheshire.
Our Glasgow hub is a newly created campus, and is the focus for a national team of 2,500 people, offering the latest technology and a superb working environment.
Here we have our own philosophy – ‘Passion with Purpose’.
This creates the foundations for an incredible culture where talent’s free to thrive. If you’re ready to redefine the future of FinTech, you’ll find there’s no limit to what you can do or how far your career can take you.
Join us as an apprentice
Hear more about our Technology apprenticeship programmes from Jenna, a current Higher Apprentice and Security Developer.
She says: “A definite myth that I’ve come across is that being an apprentice means you’d be at the bottom of the barrel and you wouldn’t make much change or have much say. That is a complete myth – it’s ridiculous!
“Everyone views you as a member of the team, and sometimes people view your ideas in a higher regard because they think this person has come in with a fresh pair of eyes.”
