It’s two months (eek!) until TRNSMT will be bouncing into Glasgow Green – hopefully bringing the sun along for the ride. Taking place from 7-9 July the new weekend festival, taking place from T in the Park, already has some stellar performers over the three stages. 🌞🎤🎉🎶
Come with us on a journey around the city-based festival to see the acts you cant miss over the glorious weekend.
Biffy Clyro
‘Mon the Biff’ will be chanted across Glasgow when the bearded Scottish trio take to the stage. Headlining the closing night of TRNSMT, expect this to be a homecoming gig of epic proportions.
Kasabian
Straight off the back of their brand new album, For Crying Out Loud the Leicester quartet will be bringing their eclectic brand of techno rock to the Saturday headline slot.
Radiohead
The opening night headliners, Radiohead are no strangers to the top spot. Join Thome York and co to dance the night away with Radiohead’s version of experimental rock.
The View
Remember these guys? Expect this set to be filled with 20-somethings singing their wee hearts out with the same jeans they’ve had on for four days now, remembering their teenage years – Scottish indie gems at their finest.
The 1975
Still bringing out memorable tracks that are easy to sing along to, drink in hand, The 1975 are sure to get the crowd well and truly warmed up before Biffy Clyro.
Twin Atlantic
Scotland will dominate the Sunday main stage, with Glasgow boys Twin Atlantic confirmed to play. Fingers crossed there is a good selection of new and old to get the crowd jumping.
Clean Cut Kid
Performing on the King Tuts stage, the Liverpudlian band will bless your ears with their biggest hits including Felt.
Declan McKenna
Set to be the rising star of 2017 thanks to his infectiously catchy single Brazil, head along to hear the protest songs of a younger generation.
Day and weekend tickets are available from the TRNSMT website and start from £59.50.
